Blazer Mid "READYMADE - Black" CZ3589 001

The READYMADE x Nike Blazer Mid “Black” is a limited edition collaboration that finds Yuta Hosokawa’s streetwear imprint and Nike recontextualizing the Swoosh’s first performance basketball silhouette. One of two colorways of the Blazer Mid imagined by READYMADE in February 2021, this “Black” look features a decidedly futuristic new look for the ‘70s era lifestyle shoe. As you can see, this design is unlike any Blazer Mid on the market. Beginning underfoot, READYMADE and Nike have created a molded texture on the rubber midsole and toecap that gives a soft, chunky appearance. The multicolor rubber outsole is made from up to 15% recycled material called Nike Grind. A black rough cut synthetic panel on the forefoot is contrasted by a digi-camo-like pattern on the foam collar. READYMADE adds a multi-lace system that consists of three different sets of laces and bungee cords. The thin orange leather Swoosh branding on either side of the shoe references one of the first iterations of the logo from 1971. Release date: February 27, 2021.
